Adagio Maiden Grass, Miscanthus sinensis, Live Plants

Adagio is a dwarf form of Maiden Grass with a fast growth habit. It has silvery-green foliage which changes to orange, gold, and burgundy in the fall. Adagio looks phenomenal when planted in a mass planting or mixed in a perennial border. It produces hundreds of plumes which start off bronzy-pink and mature to white. When planting this grass, dig the hole twice as wide as the pot and mix rich garden soil in with your native soil, then leave the top of the root ball 1/2 inch above the ground level when filling the hole with soil. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in spring.
